The conch is nested on the inner socket of your ear and is a cartilage piercing that goes through the back of your ear. Despite aversions it's one of the less painful cartilage piercing placements and is quite versatile styling wise. Bonus - you can wear earpods even with a conch piercing.

The tragus is the area on the ear closest attached to your head, usually a curve that protrudes over the canal of your ear. While it is a placement that is higher on the pain scale due to its proximity to the head, it provides beautiful balance to a well rounded ear stack.

Rook piercing is the placement going through the upper ridge of your inner ear and is a really popular cartilage placement that once healed is a beautiful addition to a lobe/helix combo stack.

Daith is the placement that goes through the ridge in the very center of your inner ear. The best pieces for this placement are front facing hoops. Ensure your hoops are slightly larger (8-10mm) to fit your daith correctly.

Forward helix piercings are on the opposite site of the helix and is situated on the inner rim of the ear. Depending on the ear, there is usually quite a small area so jewellery for this placement tend to be smaller. Hoops or shorter (6mm) flat back piercings also work best.
