WHAT IS GOLD FILL JEWELRY AND HOW IS IT DIFFERENT TO GOLD PLATED JEWELRY?
Gold Fill jewelry is the closest alternative to Solid Gold. Gold Fill jewelry has a thick layer of solid gold pressure and heat bonded onto the base metal, usually brass or sterling silver. This means Gold Fill jewelry contains 5% solid gold compared to gold plated jewelry which usually contains 0.05% solid gold. Gold Fill jewelry is typically much more durable and long lasting.
CAN I WEAR GOLD FILL JEWELRY IF I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN?
Yes, absolutely! Gold Fill is made with 5% Solid Gold heat and pressure bonded onto a base metal making it less likely for you to have a reaction. Sensitive skin can sometimes have a reaction to nickel but never ever use nickel in our jewelry as it is not only harmful to your health but to the health of our makers.
CAN I WEAR GOLD FILL IN THE SHOWER, INTO THE OCEAN, OR TO BED?
You sure can! Gold Fill is tarnish resistant and does not wear or tear when worn in water. We do however recommend taking your jewelry off if it contains any precious gemstones to avoid loosening or losing them! We also recommend cleaning your jewelry on a regular basis to maintain shine and remove grit.

HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY GOLD FILL JEWELRY?
With any type of jewelry, even solid gold and solid silver, regular cleaning and upkeep is needed to keep your jewelry in its best condition. Simply use warm water and soap or a polishing cloth to clean. You can use our jewelry in water, however do wipe it down with warm water after you’re done, especially after being submerged in salt water. Sweat can also make your jewelry duller quicker, especially necklaces, so remove these when you are working out. Avoid exposing your jewelry to skin care products, soaps, detergents and perfumes. Store your jewelry in your S-kin Studio pouch or box to avoid moisture and metal on metal rubbing.

All of our Piercing Collection earrings are 18G. 18G earrings are suitable for most ear piercings including cartilage piercings
HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT UNTIL I CHANGE MY NEW PIERCING EARRING?
For lobe piercings we generally recommend waiting at least 6-8 weeks before changing your earring. For cartilage piercings it can take anywhere between 4 - 12 months for your ear to properly heal. If you are unsure whether your piercing is ready to be changed we recommend consulting your local piercer
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN INTERNALLY THREADED AND EXTERNALLY THREADED EARRINGS?
Instead of a regular post with a butterfly or ball back, internally threaded earrings have a screw that you thread and twist into a hollow post with a flat back which is inserted from the back of your ear for a seamless end to end finish. This means the back of the earring sits flush on your skin and doesn't stick out.

This is perfect for tragus piercings. It's really tiny and subtle but so beautiful. It's exactly what i was looking for. Great quality!
Nice but much smaller than expected for the money.
I bought this for my helix and I love it. It’s much smaller than I envisioned but perfect as I was after something subtle yet still eyecatching. I wish there was a sizing chart that provided guidance on which size to get, but that was solved by google. I got the 6mm size and it fits perfectly in my helix. However, the gauge of the bar is thicker than the earring I had in previously (a standard sleeper), so it took a lot of effort to get it in. But a little patience goes a long way!
These earrings are so cute, but they don’t fit in my ear as the earring is bigger for the twist top! And the twist top is soo fiddly. Will have to give these to someone else :(
This is such a cute earring, so dainty! It is very little, I have it for my tragus and it’s perfect. A great addition to my other stacks.
