Gold Fill contains 5% of solid gold and is made through a pressure and heat bonding process. This means that a thick layer of solid gold is bonded onto the base layer, usually sterling silver or brass, to form a thick and durable layer of solid gold. Gold Fill is hypoallergenic and sensitive-skin friendly.ย

Our bespoke collections are made with gold fill materials from Mumbai, India where gold is plentiful and can be ethically and sustainably sourced. Our other gold fill components are sourced from certified sellers in the USA and Brazil.ย

Sterling silver is an alloy of silver and typically contains 92.5% of silver and 7.5% of other metals. Pure silver is very soft and malleable, this is why it is mixed with 7.5% of other metals. This ensures the jewelry will be hold it's shape and be more durable over time.ย
50% of our sterling silver materials are sourced from the USA and the other 50% is sourced from accredited manufactures in India.

Solid Gold is a type of gold that contains more that 41.7% of pure gold. Gold purity is defined by its karatage/carat and ranges from 9K to 24K (with 24K being 100% pure gold).ย
24K Solid Gold is typically very soft and not suitable for fine jewelry. S-kin Studio Solid Gold ranges from 9K - 18K to ensure your jewelry is still able to be durable and long-lasting.ย

Pearls are a timeless and elegant natural phenomenon that has been used in jewelry for thousands of years. Originating from oysters, each pearl is completely unique and can take between 4 months to 4 years to form.ย
We value the natural shape and imperfections of each pearl and choose not to utilise heavily processed or shaped pearls in our jewelry. All our freshwater pearls are ethically sourced from China & Hong Kong. We only produce our pearl jewelry items in small batches to minimise any environmental impact.ย
