Not only are we a female-owned business (with majority female staff), we look up to other women who shattered glass ceilings and broke barriers. From inspiring royals to brilliant scientists, here are some of the many jewellery pieces we designed inspired by iconic women in history.
Diana Constellation Necklace inspired by Princess Diana
Princess Diana was renowned for her style, especially her effortlessly casual look, even as a princess. Princess Di rapidly evolved into an icon of grace, elegance, and glamour in her days. Exuding natural charm and charisma, she used her celebrity status to do notable charitable work. She was president or patron of over 100 charities, which is no small feat!
Our Diana Constellation Necklace is a beautiful choker piece featuring a delicate curation of pearls and gold disks. The gold disks reflect beautifully during the golden hour. Handmade to order, she is perfect for layering with statement pendants and to be worn on its own.
Our Amelia Marquise Ring inspired by Amelia Earhart
The incredible American aviation pioneer and author, Amelia Earhart, was known for setting numerous flying records and pioneering women's participation in aviation from the 1920s to 1930s. She impressed the world (and us!) by becoming the first woman to ever fly solo across the Atlantic Ocean and also the first person to ever fly from Hawaii to American mainland soil solo too.
The Amelia Marquise Ring features a delicate thin band that is adorned with a gorgeous marquise-shaped moissanite set in a cluster of stones. It's often called the "romantic" diamond shape because of its unique curves. We wanted this ring to inspire you to romanticise your life and make your mark in your own ways. Like Amelia, we hope this ring makes you feel fearless and ready to take on anything life throws at you.
Our Kate Pear Diamond Necklace inspired by Kate Middleton
Kate Middleton still is an icon to many, not just as the Princess of Wales. She’s so low-key, charismatic, stylish, and put-together. We aspire to be as elegant as Kate, especially as a mother of 3. We also love how she makes her humanitarian efforts known, with a lot of her focus on early childhood development, ensuring the future of her children and those in the next generation.
This classic pear-shaped cut diamond necklace is inspired by Catherine Middleton, more famously known as Kate Middleton. This stunning necklace represents all the growth and love that has helped you become the strong person you are today.
Minimal and understated, the Kate Pear Diamond Necklace is the ultimate symbol of elegance. Simply put, an everyday reminder of the pure diamond you are.
Our Marie Wishbone Ring inspired by Marie Curie
The Polish-French physicist, Marie Curie, was the first woman to win the Nobel Prize in 1903 and became the first and only person to win the award in scientific research again in 1911 for her work in radioactivity.
The minimal Marie Wishbone Ring is a timeless classic design. With a slight arch and a tiny moissanite detail, stack your Marie Wishbone Ring with your engagement or ceremonial rings for added glamour. We hope this Marie Ring inspires you to live to your fullest and as Marie Curie once said ''Nothing in life is to be feared, it is only to be understood. Now is the time to understand more, so that we may fear less.''
Our Meghan Pearl Dangle Earrings inspired by Meghan Markle
Actress, activist, and entrepreneur, Meghan Markle may be best known as the Duchess of Sussex now, but before she married Prince Harry and became mother to baby Archie, she led an accomplished, busy life in her own right (Prince Harry may have just married up if you ask us!).
Minimal yet elegant, the Meghan Pearl Dangle Earrings are a symbol of class. She makes wearing pearls an everyday necessity! Featuring a classy irregular freshwater pearl with intricate beading on a stud-style post, this pair of earrings is perfect for all occasions. Each pair is hand-crafted in our Melbourne-based studio with ethically sourced materials from around the world.
Did you have a favourite in this list? We have many other jewellery pieces inspired by successful women and would love to feature them someday in another blog post too.
Anyway, Happy International Women's Day! We hope you have a joyous day celebrating the women you love around you.
