Is it the end of June already?! 2022 has been such a big & crazy year for us. We are so grateful to have every single one of you with us on this journey.

ICYMI, let's walk down memory lane together.

Here's a recap of what happened at S-kin in the last six months... 

JANUARY

To kick off 2022, we launched our Lunar Collection with a bang! It was a spin-off of our best-selling Zodiac Collection with a nod to Chi's cultural Vietnamese heritage. Our Lunar New Year Festival Event welcomed guests with red pockets upon arrival! We had boba in one hand and some Asian snacks on the other, as we made our way to make wishes on the wishing tree, get lucky at the wheel of fortune, and get our fortunes read for the year by the Fengshui master. It felt magical. Those who got theirs read, how accurate has it been for you?!

FEBRUARY

For Valentine's Day, we celebrated unconventionally by spreading and extending the love to our long-term friend groups, lovers that reconnected, long-distance besties, spoilt pets, etc. We launched a limited edition Valentine's Day Capsule Collection inspired by our cult-fave Gilded Heart too. Hearts on hearts on hearts. So much love to go around!

MARCH

On a magical March evening, we welcomed our little Felix to the world, and the S-kin family! It was love at first sight with our Pisces baby that has brought so much light and joy to our lives with his soft baby cheeks.

A day after, we launched our first-ever Solid Gold Collection. From made-to-order cocktails inspired by four of our Solid Gold Collection pieces to a gifted harpist, a talented illustrator drawing our guests, and a busy piercing station with guests getting their seconds or helix piercings. It was a night of lustre and splendour. It was so lovely to see some familiar faces and to get to know our regular customers IRL!

APRIL

With colours becoming all the rage to give any neutral staple outfits a pop of colour, we launched our Birthstones Collection! We have a birth gem made for every month to make any ear stack pop. Which of our Ren Lotus Single Stud or Cho Butterfly Single Stud would you wear for your next brunch out? I'd go with a Tourmaline Cho Butterfly Single Stud for sure! 

MAY 

Chi's first Mother's Day was eventful as she brought Felix to our Mother's Day High Tea Weekend. Many of you came through with your mommas (and mother figures!) for the high tea experience, and left with cute polaroid photos of y'alls, a cute piercing or two, and even won some Sunday Riley skincare.

Not long after, we launched our latest Ancientiera Collection! It was a limited edition two-volume drop, inspired by powerful goddesses and wonders of the past. Chi, Gia & Anna had fun with their excursion around Melbourne city, shooting content and playing with Chi's new film camera!

Eeep, we were beyond ecstatic when we got our jewellery stocked at Free People too! What a pinch-me moment!!! It is truly a dream come true, and we couldn't have done it without the love & support of every single one of you.

JUNE

With the coldest month of the year coming right after June, we've taken it easy this month to prepare for bigger, exciting things.

We've also been updating our website to better manoeuvre to our services, such as our Ear Piercing Appointments & Engagement/ Wedding Ring Bookings. For those looking to create that dream stack, there's never been a better time to get pierced with our 14K Solid Gold or discover your favourite ring stack for your wedding!

What's coming up next at S-kin Studio? Aside from making a lot more silly TikToks, handmaking & packing your orders, cuddling Anna's kitten Prince, we're still in the early phases for some upcoming merch (as voted by you guys via our IG Stories)...
