Frequently Asked Questions

How does Engraved Jewelry work?

Once you have decided on your desired text, we need to configure your chosen pendant on our engraving machine. The engraving machine is connected to a desktop computer that allows us to use a program to format the engraving with our chosen fonts and symbols. We manually insert your desired text onto the program once we have configured the shape of the pendant and make sure it is perfect. Once a signal is sent to the engraving machine, the machine will utilise a non-rotating diamond tip spindle to engrave your configured text onto your chosen pendant.

This mean that the spindle is pressing down onto the metal pendant, indenting the metal to create your desired text instead of drilling into it and cutting metal out. This means the gold fill layer is still intact and suitable for everyday wear.

How much is your Engravable Jewelry?

Our engravable pendants start from $85. You can view the entire collection here. Getting an engraving does not incur an additional cost. The engraving is included in the cost of the jewelry.

What materials do you offer Engravable Jewelry in?

Our Engravable Collection is only available in Gold Fill. Gold-filled is the closest alternative to solid gold. Gold filled jewelry has a thick layer of solid gold bonded onto the base layer, usually brass or sterling silver. Compared to gold plated which uses a process of electroplating that quickly dips your jewelry in gold, resulting in a miniscule layer of gold, gold-filled is much more durable and long lasting.

Is it safe to wear my engraved jewelry in the ocean, in shower and through airport security?

As all our engraved jewellery is made with Gold Fill they are perfectly safe and durable enough to wear in the ocean and shower! The jewelry is also too fine and dainty to cause any issues when going through airport security.

What is the benefit of booking a jewelry engraving appointment?

Terms and Conditions

A $50 deposit is taken at the time of your booking. This amount will be deducted from your final purchase on the day. Essentially you only pay for the jewelry you get. Appointment deposits are non-refundable. Failure to cancel and/or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours prior will result in a forfeit of the deposit.
All engraved jewelry is deemed custom and once engraved, there are no refunds or exchanges. All sales of engraved jewelry are considered final.
Please note: We only engraved our Engravable Collection. We are unable to weld any of your existing jewelry.
