With the new lunar year approaching and the recent launch of our Lunar collection, we decided to celebrate by hosting our own Lunar New Year festival – the S-kin Studio way!

Image: Our Lunar New Year Festival set up consisted of a large tiger wall art, a light up wishing tree, cherry blossom and lantern light installation, wooden fan wall and more!

Held in our office and showroom located in Cremorne, Richmond, we decorated our entire retail space with cherry blossoms and lanterns to replicate the atmosphere of being at a Lunar festival. We also created a huge tiger wall art to honour this year’s animal, the Tiger!

Several activities were organised throughout the day, such as a wishing tree (Decortree), Feng Shui Master (Lok Tin Feng Shui), spin-the-wheel of fortune, and our popular piercing station. Our guest were also greeted with a buffet bar and candy station, filled with Asian delicacies and sweets, catered by Master Roll Vietnam, Narocha Tea and Minnie Sweets.

Our Feng Shui Master, Edgar Lok Tin Yung, was a hit with all our guests! Edgar is one of the most popular and sought-after Feng Shui Masters in Australia, and we were very lucky to have him at our Lunar New Year festival. His detailed one-on-one consultations provided our guests great insight on their fortunes and future!

 As always, our piercing station was booked and busy! Many of guest went straight to our piercing station to have an appointment with our talented inhouse piercer, Summer.

The Wheel of Fortune and Wishing Tree was also a crowd favourite. Customers had the chance to spin our Wheel of Fortune to win one of many prizes. One of the prizes was our Lucky Red Envelope, where they could be one of our Lucky 8 Golden Ticket winners!

Our Wishing tree was ornated with everyone’s fortunes and wishes for the new Lunar year. Each fortune was so thoughtful and sincere, and we hope all of them come true this 2022.

Our Lunar New Year Festival couldn’t have been as successful if it weren’t for our lovely team at S-kin Studio, the amazing businesses that have collaborated with us for this special event, and of course our wonderful guests that came and supported.
