With the Tarot launch just around the corner and the lifting of lockdown in our home of Melbourne, Australia, it was time to get on location and shoot a brand new campaign! 

Location

Situated in nearby suburb of Fitzroy, we rented a stunning light-filled home that we can only describe as every small-scale contemporary architects dream. With an arched floor to ceiling glass window overlooking the entire courtyard and statement furniture pieces that offered hints of colour, this home was the perfect location for us to shoot Tarot. 

Utilising every shape and style of light that entered the home, we set up our Tarot cards, candles and crystals to create our very own spiritual space. Our amazing photographer, Dylan Kelleher, spent the afternoon immersing himself in the gorgeous architecture and capturing our jewels in every light. 

Inspiration

With focus on self-care and wellbeing, the Tarot campaign was inspired by whimsical natural light and movement. We wanting to capture the moments of calmness one might feel when meditating, participating in yoga or simply enjoying the simple things in life. Think candid yet meaningful. 

Naturally, with Tarot cards being the focus of this collection, we also wanted to capture the spiritual aura that comes with drawing and reading Tarot cards. We took inspiration from our very own Tarot card designs and aimed to let each design speak for themselves in each image. 

Styling 

Joining our Creative Director, Chi and Marketing Assistant, Gia, we had mega babe, Velma Jean modelling Tarot and favourite MUA Zoe Karlis helping us create killer looks. To keep the focus on the jewelry, Chi decided to go with a minimal nude lounge underwear set, neat low bun for hair and a glowy natural look for makeup. 

Our set comprised of our favourite Tarot card deck, incense, candles and most meaningful crystals. Sometimes when you think of a Tarot card reading you might envision a rather dark space with lots of gold and small trinkets. However, for our shoot we wanted to channel a lighter energy and thus shot with natural light. 

We are so excited for the launch of Tarot and we can't wait to see which pieces will speak the most to you! Designed to serve as a reminder that spiritual guidance and protection is always here for you, we hope that you will achieve the awakening that you seek.
