Let us take you behind the collaborative design process of our upcoming collection with Milan based digital creator, Paola Cossentino. 

Inspired by the mysterious yet romantic nature of the moon, Paola Cossentino is the second influencer we have ever collaborated with. Taking over 1 year to conceptualize, the collection 'Lunar Dreams' was name after Paola's original poem of the same title. 

Lunar Dreams centres around Paola’s nostalgic and romantic telling of the moon, the midnight stars, and her inner self. Over countless emails and messages, Paola and Chi slowly turned Paola's dream and references into beautiful timeless pieces. Now let’s get to know the six new pieces part of our Paola Cossentino x S-kin Studio Collaborative Collection - Lunar Dreams! 

LUNAR ONYX

Four pieces in our Lunar Dreams collection share the same moon motif, which are our Lunar Onyx Ring, Lunar Charm Earrings, Lunar Chunky Chain Necklace and Lunar Bracelet. 

FUN FACT:  The Lunar Onyx Ring was the first piece Paola designed for her collaborative collection, and was first created during the 2020 Milan quarantine. This is Paola’s favourite piece in the whole collection! 

From Paola’s first drawing of the Lunar Onyx Ring, the creation of the matching earrings, bracelet and necklace came seamlessly as it made sense for all four pieces to be worn together. Thanks to the Moon motif’s simple yet eye-catching onyx base design, it can also stand out on its own. 

GALAXY TEXTURE

The last two pieces in the collection are the Galaxy Raw Textured Hoops and Galaxy Textured Spiral Ring. These two pieces were designed to replicate the craters and cracks of the moon, and are also a reference to Paola’s original poem. The spiral shape of the ring also took form to represent the ever moving tides controlled by the mystical moon.
