It's been a while since I've done an update on how S-kin is going, and connect with you on our blog! Life has been hectic (2020, am I right?!) but I'm back to show you what I've been up to!

Here's what my typical day in the life of a business owner looks like - I wake up around 6am & make breakfasts for both Alex (hubby) and I, and get to work around 7am. I quickly reply to our DMs and emails, and set out my to-do list for the day.

Generally my day to day involves helping my team whether it be making jewellery, creative directing for content, scheduling campaigns, etc. I spend the bulk of my time planning ahead, for example, currently I'm planning for a collection that won't be live until 2022! I love interacting with you guys on Instagram, so that's where I listen out to any ideas you have for future pieces you'd like to see.

We usually have lunch around 1pm, and on Fridays I get to hang out with my team and have a staff lunch! This one was pre-lockdown when we got to eat the best dumplings ever - they're called Darling Dumplings, if you are in Melbourne you HAVE to check it out.

In the afternoons, I usually finish up any tasks I had set out on my to-do list, and plan (again) for upcoming days and weeks. I would honestly be so lost without my planner - classic Virgo trait haha! Once I finish up in the office, I head to the post office to drop off the orders for the day.

I usually finish work at 4:30pm, and head off home to see my two doggos. We adopted Miso earlier this year as I had to move from my home office to our now studio, and Wicket was feeling lonely as I was no longer working from home. Miso is such a sucker for a play at the park, so this is when I take her and Wicket to our local park. I really enjoy this time listening to a podcast, or simply reflecting on my day. 

My day then usually closes out with some hearty dinner at home (please recommend some ideas for me below!), followed by either Netflix or a round of video games with Alex. My go-to at the moment on Netflix are psychological thrillers based on true stories (I loved Believe Me), or your classic drama like Bridgeton or Lucifer!

Recently I travelled to Tasmania for our anniversary and the ideas have been flowing for our upcoming collections, so I'm super excited to plan ahead and show you what I have in the upcoming months. I've been working on this one for over a year now, so I can't wait to show you all :)
